Archaeogate, The Italian Archaeology Portal

Archaeogate is the first archaeological web site in Europe. Approved and funded by the Italian Ministery of Culture, it's an incredible source of scientific information for the ancient world, with popular sections like Egyptology and Papyrology, Ancient Greece and Rome, Underwater archeology. Edited by the most renewed University Professors from Italy and Europe, and backed by many cultural institutions.

I designed the website from the ground up (database and programming), for an easy collaborative editorial process, and clear and easy to navigate content.
